SVP is one of the few favorites I have at ESPN anymore. And they recently suspended him from his afternoon radio show. If you have time, listen to the clip below. That was enough to warrant suspension. Why? Could it be that ESPN has a multiyear, HUGE money contract with MLB?

I didn’t get a chance to post about my Tarheels last night, but what a game? ACC basketball is second to none. Props to Clemson for playing us so well. I was pumped to see our guys respond down the stretch after playing so many snoozefest games the last few weeks.

One aside, DirecTv Tivo only records within the pre-alloted time for shows unless you change it. So if the game is scheduled from 6-8pm and it goes into Overtime and doesn’t end until 8:04 you will miss the last 4 minutes. My Tivo ran out last night with 13.9 seconds left in OT after Clemson made the Free Throw. So I missed Ellington’s clutch 3 with .4 seconds and had to catch it on ESPN. There has to be a way for DirecTV for fix this on the their end.
